I've.... seen things...

The quote comes from the 1979 Ridley Scott film starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer in the scene towards the end of the film where a dying Cyborg played by Hauer utters "I've... seen things...you people wouldn't believe... attack ships on fire off the shoulders of Orion.... all these moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain." This website collects & shares the things I've seen on the web. Hopefully, they will NOT be lost in time.

going crpg after a long hiatus

It has been a while since I last really played any form of computer games, be in on the PS2, or on the PC. The last one I really enjoyed was Champions of Norrath and its sequel Return to Arms - both for the PS2. These games were given an 8.5 (great) and 7.8, respectively by Gamespot. Sony doing a great job on RPG games of late.

I was just browsing Happy Puppy to see of what are the upcoming interesting games, and chanced upon Fable: The Lost Chapters for the PC & XBox. This is an RPG with a twist in that the character you play can be moulded into as much of a do-gooder or a devil's idle hand. It has been given an 8.7 (out of 10) score with an "M - Mature" ESRB rating.

Interesting. Might just try it out soon... but if only I have more time on my hands.

Spyware stuff

Today I went to Tucows to get myself some spyware cleaners. Checking out spybot search and destroy. Hopefully this will clean things up more.

star trek: enterprise

I was doing a bit of star trekking and got myself a set of the 1st season DVDs of Enterprise, and find that Chief Science Officer & First Officer T'Pol is one hot looking babe. Actress Jolene Blalock is another in a list of hot star trek babes. Somehow T'Pol reminds of 7 of 9 played by Jeri Lynn Ryan.

rediscovering the net & blogs

Of late, I've been playing with PHP CMS and BBS scripts such as drupal, civicspace and phpbb and others. I just setup a community forum called The House of Commons using phpBB. This is really an attempt to resurrect an old site which I built in my former company.
